Nikon

Nikon is a precision optical company with worldwide manufacturing, research and marketing capabilities. The Nikon name is equated with extraordinary photographic performance, innovation, precision and optical quality.

The Nikon GP-1 GPS Module attaches to the Nikon D3x, D3, D700, D90, D3S, D5000 and D300s digital SLR cameras and records the exact location of the camera when a picture is taken. Information such as latitude, longitude, altitude and time are automatically recorded as 'geotags' in the image data (EXIF), so whether you want to plot the route of your once in a lifetime journey through the rainforest, or you simply want to record the time and place of the photos you took last weekend, the Nikon GP1 GPS Module is the device for you

The Nikon GP-1 is compatible with the following models: D3x, D3, D700, D90, D3S, D5000 and D300s. Nikon advise some models may require an update to the latest version of firmware.
